The drives with CANopen communication interface conform to CiA 301 application layer and CiA 402 device profile for drives and motion control. The ELD2-CAN model has a termination resistor switch located on the top of the drive, a 120Ω termination resistor embedded in drive. Setting the switch to the correct position, the baud rate can be set to one of the following values: 125 Kbps, 250 Kbps, 500 Kbps, 1 Mbps (default). But if using EL6-CAN model, a 120Ω termination resistor is required at the beginning and ending of the chain, and we can set the parameter value through the MotionStudio terminal screen for CAN bus bit rate.
